The Task Manager is an area where all lessons, class tasks, home tasks, tests and shared resources etc. are posted. The tasks are managed by course and date - they have a start date and an end date with feedback on how long each task has left before it will be 'overdue'
You need to have a course or be collaborating on one to post to the task manager.
The couse can be empty if you just wish to use the task manager
Just sign in to start posting tasks and offering resources..

Anyone can view the public tasks and attempt them if they wish (no need to login).
To submit work you would need to sign in and work sumitted is live linked to your own assessment area as well as the markbooks of any class you are in.
Adding tasks is easy but very functional. (see below)

How it works
Task that are added are then undertaken and sumbited to a class markbook.
You will see a 'submit work' button by the task
Clicking submit will open up a dialogue where you can past the link to your work (Google Doc, Dropbox, qDoc for example)
